Most girls believe that Remi (Remy) is an actual brand of hair, but it isn’t.
Remi means that the hair was collected from one single donor (human) and carefully kept all the same way up so all the root ends stay at the top , meaning that the cuticles all run in the same direction so as not to cause matting and tangles.
Lots of hair sold in the hair industry is not Remi, as the cuticles have been stripped with acid.
Remi hair is processed in a much kinder way like cashmere, to preserve the hair cuticles, which gives you stronger, natural, bouncier, longer lasting, healthy, shiny, tangle free hair. This lengthy processing technique is why hair is more expensive.
There are lots of brands selling Remi hair and they are graded. So for instance you can get A grade, AA grade, AAA grade and so on.. But the main point to find out is HOW LONG CAN THIS HAIR LAST WITH REGULAR MAINTENANCE AND CORRECT AFTER CARE?
I have worn all of my grades of hair and my AA grade can last up to 6 months, my AAAA grade can last aprox 7- 9 months and the Dianne Marshall Remi can last 12+ months, this all depends on clients lifestyle, styling, washing, etc…
